Le Couvent
A gorgeously comfortable 200-year-old ex-convent school which overlooks the tiny village and river of Saint-Just-sur-Viaur, Le Couvent is a country paradise on the border of the Aveyron and Tarn departments in the Occitanie Region and only 30 minutes from both Albi and Rodez.
Inspired by the surrounding landscape and spectacular view, Le Couvent has been designed and furnished to make your visit uniquely comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms are spacious, (all with en-suite shower rooms), meals are delicious, rates are competitive, and the service is unparalleled.
Louise, the friendly English owner, is a proficient French speaker who welcomes you to stay around the house and garden and can make recommendations for visiting the area. If you come for the peace, quiet and privacy you'll find that in abundance, but don't worry, there is also WiFi and 4G throughout the house to keep you connected. Two friendly and sociable dogs will give you a warm welcome and may even accompany you on walks to the river.
There are also two cats and four goats around and about.
